WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL?

Being the role model that you had growing up or the one you wish you had.

Think back to yourself as a little girl just starting out your journey in the dance or cheer world…

Were there people you looked up to on your team or at your studio?

Did you have a cheer or dance role model? Do you still have one today?

I’m sure if they’ve ever slipped you a compliment or words of encouragement, it just made you that much more motivated/inspired.

People that we encounter and admire past, present, and future can have a huge impact on us — our dance journey and who we are as individuals.

There is power in what we say and don’t say along with what we do and don’t do.

I’m sure there is someone that looks up to and respects you. There’s always someone who you don’t even realize is around, watching you.

Being a part of a dance team means being a part of something larger than yourself.

You’re in a position to be an ambassador and role model. And ultimately, you’re in a position that someone else dreams of being in.

Don’t lost sight of your impact on others and how the smallest things can change someone’s mindset on their own goals.

Be the role model that you had growing up or the one you wish you had.
